Rain, Rain, Rain

When I arrived in Gryon on Sunday night it had been raining for several days. It continued raining all day Monday, so there weren't too many options for entertainment. I ended up hanging out in the hostel all day with other travelers. It was a very nice relaxing day. My whole time in Gryon felt like a little vacation within my trip. This storm turned out to be very severe and caused a lot of devastation throughout Switzerland and the rest of Europe. Luckily they didn't really affect the area I was in too much. The town of Gryon is up on a ridge above the valley below and during the storm we were just in a cloud all day. There were some pictures inside the hostel of the views from outside when it was clear and I was getting really excited for the good weather that was predicted for the next day.
