Pisa

From the bus ride through the city, the town of Pisa didn’t seem all that extraordinary. I did feel bad about spending so little time there. The square with the leaning tower is an amazing sight. You get off the bus in the city and walk into a walled compound, the Campo_dei_Miracoli (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campo_dei_Miracoli), which houses the leaning tower, the duomo and the bapistry. All are built from white marble and the surrounding land is covered with immaculately manicured lawns. It is a nice place.
